Borneo Sea Adventures Sdn. Bhd. or BSA as some locals prefer to refer to the company, first began as a group of scuba enthusiasts. Organizing weekend diving trips to various offshore islands and remote dive sites for its closest members. Formal incorporation of the company did not take place until 1989 when the company was granted a tour license from the Malaysian Tourism Board. Since then, it has been the company's goal of providing the same relaxing, friendly and informal experience of earlier member oriented dive trips. Being in the business of fun is really a lot of hard work. While trying to provide the best in local food and accommodation, the company continues to learn and grow from its encounters with various International guests from all parts of the world. Now 10 years after we formally started, we can still only say that we continue to learn and strive to provide great service and value for money.
The first of our projects is Sipadan Lodge. Located on Eastern shore of Sipadan Island, Sipadan Lodge caters some of the best diving (and divers) in Borneo. Set carefully under the forest canopy and away from the beach (for obvious reasons), the lodge is a favorite of a select group of repeat clients. The company can now also offer Mantanani Resorts. Located on an isolated group of islands northeast of Kota Kinabalu, Mantanani offers a "slower pace" of fun. Sport Fishing and wreck diving are just two of the many items on the list.
